Opening and Editing a Document

In the sidebar to the left is a view of all the directories and files in the PAMMS repository. You can navigate through these and find the folders relevant to your program.

Open a file by double clicking. It will open to the left of the sidebar. As an example we’ll open the README.adoc file in the root of the repository. Since the AsciiDoc plugin is installed the file is displayed in its plaintext AsciiDoc format to the right(red) and in its formatted/human-readable form to the left(orange). The button circled in yellow can be used to toggle the split view on/off.

Edit the file by clicking the plaintext AsciiDoc area(red) and start typing. If you still have split view open, your changes will reflect on the rendered AsciiDoc side as well.
